$18.8M in state grants will go to 23 of Connecticut’s blighted properties

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Governor Ned Lamont Thursday announced $18.8 million in state grants will go toward the assessment and remediation of 23 blighted properties.The properties represent 227 acres of contaminated land across 19 municipalities, according to Lamont’s office.
