There's no hiding that the Green Goblin is the greatest Spider-Man villain of all time. He's the father of Peter Parker's best friend, Harry, and has some of the closest connections to the hero's personal life. However, over the years, the Green Goblin has become a bit bland, with writers clearly not too sure what to do with the character after he peaked during the Bronze Age. This uncertainty has led to him becoming a bit uninteresting in the comics, but the movies have it good with Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe.
