10 Times ‘Supernatural’ Unknowingly Predicted Its Own Future

When a show runs for 15 seasons on television (and 327 episodes), there are bound to be a few curveballs thrown in the mix. When it comes to Supernatural, the show ran long beyond Eric Kripke's initial plan for Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), which meant that subsequent writers really had to pull from the show's foundation to make future stories work.
