For those who don’t already know, Star Wars is split into two distinct continuities: canon and Legends. The canon Star Wars is everything in the movies or television series, as well as all the novels and comics that have been released since Disney bought Star Wars in 2012 (including and especially the Marvel Comics Star Wars series). Then, there’s the Legends Star Wars, which is everything that isn’t the movies or television series (ie, novels, comics, video games) released before 2012.
