It’s easier to just yap for a while about chaotic movies than it is to define chaos in any meaningful way, and that might be okay, since it’s one of those “know it when you see it,” or “know it when you feel it” sort of things. With movies, if emotions are heightened, genres are varied, stories are unpredictable, visuals are unusual, and things are overall weird, then you're probably watching something at least kind of chaotic.
