Perhaps one of the greatest travesties of modern cinema is the quick disappearance of movie soundtracks. Every now and then, we get an epic tune that joins the release of the score, or we have a carefully curated playlist like Barbie that celebrates music and artists within a particular theme, but the truth is, once the 21st century hit, the concept of the physical modern soundtrack is simply not the same. Thankfully, though, there were some brilliant soundtracks from the early aughts that still resonate today.
