Can you believe that Curb Your Enthusiasm began in 2000? And that it technically started as a one-hour special in 1999? That's mind-blowing, given that its 12th and final season aired in 2024. Shot sort of like a documentary, there is a sense of authenticity in how these mundane details and everyday social situations play out and come back to bite our characters in the butt. Particularly show creator Larry David, who plays a fictionalized version of himself. The show has received tons of acclaim over the years, which is part of why Larry kept bringing it back.
