It’s not too much of a surprise to know why comedies are not quite as respected by critics as dramas. Drama is universal, whereas comedy is subjective, and what one person finds funny is not what others may agree with. That does not mean that the comedy genre suffers from a lack of good movies, however. On the contrary, there are many comedies out there that are often described as absolute bangers from start to finish.
