2025 was a great year for Stephen King's fans, with five projects adapted from or inspired by his works hitting the big and small screens. Among them is The Long Walk, adapted from his novel, which he wrote under the pseudonym Richard Bachman. Starring Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson, the movie was a success, making approximately three times its budget. It was also well received by critics and fans, scoring over 80% from both on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Lionsgate made The Long Walk available to stream at home via PVOD, and later it landed on SVOD platforms.
